Watch: “American Flags” by Tom MacDonald & Adam Calhoun

This isn’t a genre of music I typically listen to, but Tom MacDonald is an interesting artist.

He’s an independent musician who produces his own stuff. He’s not beholden to a production company who would be more concerned about mass appeal than genuine expression. Tom’s music is controversial in a lot of ways. His appearance is a clear statement that he doesn’t care about appealing to traditional conservativism, while his lyrics go hard against establishment politics and degenerate social movements.

Today he released his latest video “American Flags” with Adam Calhoun.

The song’s message is that America is great because of the people. It paints corrupt politicians as the enemy. I appreciate that he isn’t trying to divide Americans based on their opinions on social issues. He’s simply celebrating America greatness and sending a message that we should all be wary of our government and that our government should be wary about us, the people.

On his social media, Tom does publish his opinions on social issues. He makes common sense arguments against degeneracy of all kinds while producing high quality music in an industry that will never accept him.

Tom tied this video to the controversy around Jason Aldean’s recent music video that showed the riots of the past years that harmed small communities; riots based on lies and exaggerated social movements. Jason got a lot of hate for that music video.
