Tesla Bots and One Free Stock
Tesla Bots are inevitable so I bought 2 1/2 shares for about $300 and made $182. I think that’s pretty cool. Tesla has earned above their estimated revenue every quarter since Q4 2021. Maybe longer, I haven’t checked.
That quote is from Elon’s recent shareholder meeting (full video below). He expects a demand of more than one bot per capita and I have since read that he plans on selling them for about $20K each, so for the cost of an average new sedan.
For a while now, Elon Musk has driven a large part of the tech culture including electric cars, AI, rekindling excitement for space travel, and now social media, just to name a few. Love him or hate him, the guy is a master capitalist, the richest man in the world, and is currently the most followed person on Twitter.

“Optimus”, Tesla’s AI robot product, is very interesting. I’ve noticed a lot of people want to ask the moral question about AI or point to dystopian robot action films when they see progress on a product like Optimus, but what I think is more interesting is the inevitability of such a product.
Robots already run factories and have helped Amazon nearly demolish the online retail industry. Imagine giving robots the dexterity of a human and the mind of an AI. Then make that product really “cool” and pay practically zero money for marketing since the face of the company is Elon Musk.
I think Optimus will dominate warehouses, service industry businesses, and the social media content of wealthy influencers. The doom and gloom anxiety of the media will become an AI apocalypse meme that very few people will take seriously as clever entrepreneurs find ways to monetize these bots. One wealthy person could employ a mass of Optimus robots and run an entire company with zero humans. This alone will ensure the financial success of Tesla well into the future.
Think about it like this; Google makes a vast majority of its money from advertising but has an endless amount of consumer products. Tesla will go the same way, making a fortune off Optimus while continuing to invest in whatever product is interesting to Elon at the time.

I’m not a financial advisor. I buy stocks because I think its a fun game to watch them go up and down.
I only have a few bucks in each of these stocks except for a few I dropped a few hundred on. If I were to invest real money, I would consider the morality of giving money to some of these companies, but I’m not wealthy. I’m just a hobbiest.
